Why are Epics disabled on my regular work add-on?

Answer:

The project you have selected for the regular plan, does not currently have the issue type "Epic" on it's issue type scheme.

You can solve this issue by following these simple steps:

  1. On your jira's project menu, select the project in question
  2. Once the project is open, click on "Project settings"
  3. On the following menu click on the option called "Summary" 
  4. Under the "Issue types" section, click on the scheme name
  5. On the following window, click on "Actions" and then "Edit issue types"
  6. Drag the "Epic" issue type from the right group to the left group and save
  7. Try the add on again.
